Dear NAWBO Members and Friends,

In this difficult time, we, together will power and achieve our dreams through our well thought programs and professional support for one another.  

Rarely in my life have I come across an organization like National Association of Women business Owners consisting of powerful, intelligent, professional women who are determined to change their business world. These business owners demand their fair share in business, they are armed with their product and service knowledge, they have their business plan and they are willing to work hard to realize their dream.

My role as your president is to provide you programs and procurement opportunities aimed at helping you power your dream. My dream is to lead you through the choppy, economic waters to stay afloat and reach the shore you have set your sights on.  

It is a big challenge for me – bigger than my own business but with your support and participation I am sure we will achieve our success together.  

Our programs will be aimed at educating and training members where they need help. We will attract corporate and government agency procurement officials to look at our members products and service offerings. We will encourage B2B participation among members and our sponsors, we will help one another with our professional talent, we will get our chapter 501 C approval to run our entrepreneurship Development program, we will add student chapter and scholarships to young aspiring women.  

Our long island has more than 93,000 women owned businesses – imagine if we only have half of them join us! Then we will change rules of the game – our past presidents have decided to help our team win to impact public policy and rules of procurements- corporate, local, state and national government. Can this be achieved? Only you can answer this question because your participation will determine this outcome.
