As we say goodbye to summer, and the holidays are on the way, I want to thank everyone who joined us for a fantastic NAWBO kick-off party at FOUR Food Studio. It's such a wonderful feeling to become President of this organization and see so many successful women come together and share their knowledge of the business world. 

As we are now approaching our October event, I ask everyone to please join us at this meeting. We have the opportunity to hear first hand from Nassau County Comptroller, Mr. Howard Weitzman, how Nassau County is reaching out to women business owners and how the county's finances and taxes effect us.  

November's meeting is also sure to be a good one, NAWBO will have the Banking world and Accounting world come together to answer questions on what we can do to protect ourselves from this economic fall-out.  

I look forward to making this an exciting year and look forward to seeing everyone at each event. All ideas will be welcomed in strengthening the voices of NAWBO.
