In this past year as President, the membership has seen that I enjoy change and forward progression of ideas. Our current Board of Directors has worked hard to develop a solid plan for this coming year, and during our installation on June 15th we again stated our commitment to follow through with these ideas.

Some of the changes that we are excited about include the new look of our website. I encourage everyone to utilize our website as a dynamic resource for member news, business contacts, calender events, and the interactive forum. The website has been developed to assist our members and we welcome all feedback.

We have also developed our calender of events for the entire year and feel that the topics chosen reflect the ideas expressed by our membership. We will also be announcing our Gala honorees shortly and hope you will join us in congratulating them on their achievements at our annual event in November.

Our Board of Directors has made a commitment to form alliances with many of the other women's organizations on Long Island, recognizing that together we represent a very influential group in our business community. I encourage everyone to contact any one of our organizations and we will guide you to the resource you need to achieve your goals. And, to foster continued strength as Women Business Owners, we will continue to be active in the "Girls Going Places" mentoring program for girls in our local highschools.

I am excited about this year, and hope that our mission is clear in our actions. Enjoy our new website and we wish you Success. Find it. Own it.
