Everyone on the Board and members of chapter committees have been working to bring even better programs, processes, and events to members. Here are some of the plans that are underway .  

As you look at the current activities, think about how you can get involved in one of the NAWBO/LI committees. Enrich your experience as a NAWBO/LI member and help to make 2008 our strongest year yet.

Streamlined dues payment, financial tracking
We already have begun simplifying and streamlining NAWBO/LI processes. The first improvement is that all of us now are being billed on a calendar year basis.

Collecting funds according to the calendar year makes it easier and less time consuming to coordinate member details and payment information with the National office. Thanks to Board Member Sudhir Sachdev, a new LI Chapter payment tracking program will make it easier to do better financial evaluations and projections.

At the same time, another updated member directory is being created for the general membership. Past President Maryanne Boerner is working on an updated directory which soon will be loaded onto our Web site.
